Webelos Camp-O-Ree
|
A Camp-O-Ree is many things -- camping fun for boys, the thundering of hundreds of feet on the way to an evening campfire, and the smell of cooking stew or ham and eggs. It's catching the idea of teamwork and learning to carry out an order you don't really like. A Camp-O-Ree involves the type of equipment that can be set up entirely by the boys. The equipment set up enables the boys to be completely self-sufficient for a self-reliant experience over a period of three days. There will be various activities and competitions for the Webelos dens to participate in. Den flags and den yells will be needed. There will also be a dessert competition and every den is encouraged to participate! |
